About Me!

Hi! I’m Khaila Monet. A proud Black American actor and storyteller born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Of course I’m an Eagles fan!!

I recently graduated with my M.F.A. in Acting from Brooklyn College and hold a B.A. in Psychology.

I’m drawn to characters who challenge me emotionally and intellectually. I’m really passionate about creating art that is culture-shifting, thought-provoking, and rooted in meaningful change, and I’m especially interested in playing flawed characters who straddle the moral compass and live in moral ambiguity.

More about Me:

• I’ve been playing competitive volleyball since I was 10 years old.
• I hold a Baking and Pastry Arts degree, and can whip up delicious brown butter chocolate chip cookies.
•  I was born with an extra tooth, an extra finger, and extra bones in my foot. Some may say I’m a little EXTRA!
